Ten Secrets of Commissioning Great Video No:2

Think Creatively

If you’re a small to medium-sized company, you probably don’t think a helicopter is something you can afford to hire to make a corporate video, right? Wrong!

Our cameraman has a drone for a GoPro that shoots stunning HD video at a price that will blow your mind.

All you have to do is use your imagination to think about how shooting from above could lend a bit of glamour to your video.

Think about writing a message using people or piles of clothing, that is revealed as the drone zooms up and away from the presenter. Go up inside a building, follow a cycle or running race, or skim just above the surface of a river.

See your product from all angles, or circle around your people as they go about their work.

Here at Magic Beans, we love to try something new.

Here’s something else fun you can do with Go Pros – you know that bit in the Matrix, where the two people fighting freeze in the air, and the camera appears to pan round them? I’m told that can be done using 12 Go Pro cameras set up in a semi circle. We’re desperate to try this, and we probably will soon, as we are too excited to wait for someone to ask us for it, so we’ll let you know how we get on.

And don’t even get us started on the props house we’ve just discovered in Cricklewood! You need a full-size elephant, a tube of toothpaste, an Easter Island head, a golden throne, a polar bear or a Victorian street scene? They’ve got them, and thousands more things for any season or any theme. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of wonderful things we can hire to make your video something a bit different. Just ask, and we’ll show you some of our favourites.

But in the meantime, get thinking. Our mission is to have as much fun as we can and make you a video that’s beyond your wildest expectations.

If you need any creative help, we can do that for you too, just contact us and ask for a meeting, and we’ll talk you through the joys of Go Pros, slo-mo cameras and helicopters.

It’s not a bad job this.¬†Take a look at the following aerial videos:
