Magic Beans Media is a small company with big ideas. It was founded by Helen Casey, a broadcast journalist with many years of experience in TV news, including at the BBC and ITN. Her vision was a small team of highly-motivated and talented professionals, who could work fast, and create high-quality videos faster and more efficiently than bigger production companies, often at a fraction of the cost.

Magic Beans wouldn’t be what it is without Jason’s super camera skills. Always willing to try something new, he’s a man who has found something he loves, and the results speak for themselves.

Jason also loves keeping up to date with the latest kit, and he’s able to indulge this expensive hobby through his camera hire business. His recent acquisition of a slo-mo camera allowed us to get some great effects on the Dream a Big Dream videos.

Jason can also turn his hand to acting, appearing as ‘James’ in our Taskhub video.

Paula Frank – Editor

Paula Frank

Paula is another indispensable cog in the Magic Beans machine. Her editing, graphics and animation skills mean that if we can imagine it, she can bring it to life.

As well as editing, Paula is often seen on Magic Beans shoots as an extra cameraperson, or turning her hand to whatever needs doing – for example, blowing up balloons for our Taskhub shoot, when Helena was struggling to get them going.
